Hi everyone :) I was organising my notes the other day and come up with a notion that we could actually work together on the Internet as a syllabus-note editing team. The following is the outline of this project:

 Aim:
to make notes for all every single "dot points" on all compulsory area of studies - Production of Materials, The Acidic Environment and Chemical Monitoring and Management

 Method:
1. gather people who are willing to get involved
2. as soon as the team is decided, allocate task for each individual
3. individuals commence the work they are allocated
4. collect all the notes and publish them into one single document
5. the document is then sent to everyone in the team for revision
6. additional information, ideas and/or amendments are made to the document
7. edit and produce a finalised copy of the notes
8. distribute the notes

Advantages of this project:
1. time economic
2. more accurate
3. semi-passive revision
4. great way to contribute
5. a varity of ideas and insights
6. allow easier understanding into the course for students who
are experiencing difficulties - as the notes are "created by
students for students"
7. best of all, (only applicable if you are genuinely involved), good
HSC marks and UAI

If you are really interested please contact me by e-mail, my e-mail address is lemonpichu@hotmail.com with a subject line of "Chemistry Syllabus-Note Editing Team". Thank you :)

This project are also avalible to the subjects listed below:
- Physics
- Biology
- Mathematics
- Mathematics Ext. 1
- Mathematics Ext. 2
- English (Standard)

Note: please don't post a comment if you think this is "stupid",
"pointless" or "crazy", this is a really great opportunity for
you me and everyone (yes, i'm pratially an idealist ;))

*a bit sceptical about the freeloaders out there.. who will be willing to do a dot point dodgily and then take advantage of everyone else's.... -.-;;

ah well..

i already have my own notes for those three topics (except the very last bit of monitoring) for each dot point.. but i'll be happy to contribute and see what other ppl are doing..

Not all people are as "ebil" as you think :) my mum always scold me for leaving the door open for complete strangers, (well, that sounds logical doesn't it?) but i still believe that people who want to get involved are genuinely contributors - freeloaders would not even bother about making notes (just take the whole thing after we are finished) so yeah :) send me an e-mail if you really want to get involved and that you think this is a good idea... thanks for your comment ;)

I've done all my DP-by-DP notes for the first two Core topics (almost finished Monitoring as well), but I don't want to share them as yet. Maybe later.
