Hey guys ive been spending recently working on one of my weakest points in SDD which is system modelling ...
(this is my trial exam im retrying)
We are asked to do a DFD (which i find the hardest) of a voting system and it says in the scenario how a user has their own unique ID / password and uses that to enter into the electoral roll system (this is only 1/10 of the scenario but i'll only say enough to answer my question)
now my DFD showed the user entering their USER ID and password to the electoral roll, and the rest of course. I compared it to one of the answers of the top student and she had a similar type thing (few extra processes) but in particular i noticed she had in particular along the lines of;
- downloads and installs voting program
- enters user details and logs onto the server
- the server then sends the password details to the electoral roll
the rest basically follows mine, but is this detail neccesary? i always thought it wasnt
thanks in advance, ill provide a scan later of her answer, my answer and scenario if you guys want to give it a go yourself
