Ohhh i do. Well, i "did". Im a 1st Dan Black Belt because ive been doing TKD since i was bout 5/6 but i quit beginning of this year. But i might start again soon after the whole hsc thingy is over because i getting literally fat.

Sorry Will, I thought you'd understand what TKD school you studied under (ie. WTF - World Tae kwon do Federation) It's what most people do worldwide and it's the only one that use dans for belts other than black. It's less traditional also the one that most tournaments are held under, of course compeditors from other schools compete in it too.. but yeah

look at me, I forked out thousands of dollars in testing fees for my TKD black belt! 'cept they didn't give me my fries with that too, damn bastards!
excuse the cynicism.. I train with a few guys who hold TKD black belts.. oddly, most of them started training kickboxing a long time ago and keep pretty quiet about holding a TKD black belt.. the ones that have little kickboxing experience have rather ordinary stand up and do stupid things like switching to southpaw which sees them eating a lot of straight punches, especially right hands
I'll never pay to grade for a belt again, I'll either test for free, or have it given to me when I'm ready.
