From what I 'know' Mr Butler did not only the right thing but got the right amount of money in terms of a 'golden handshake'. He seems to be a good man, it was very honorable of him to step down.
Succession should be by someone who is good with people, someone who cares about the tasmainian people and someone who has a genuine warmth about them. Woman, Aboriginal, animal, vegetable, mineral or man... I really dont care. Someone who can do the job and do it well...
