You can see the details on blackboard on how to nominate.
I voted for Frank Stilwell. He is an amazing man. An inspiration to all. Perhaps the best lecturer possible.
I recommend sitting in for one of his lectures even if you don't do the subject and bask in his awesomeness.
All his lectures are full as he's just so damn amazing.
i love him. sexually.

hehehe he's playing at a gig: I love frank. he's so swell.

The economics of bands in pubs is quite simple. Bands are expected to advertise their own appearances, bring their friends and otherwise ensure that good sales at the bar make the whole process profitable (for the pub, not the band). As an illustration of this general economic theorem, I invite you to the Harp Hotel, 920 Princes Highway, Tempe at 7pm on Sunday (5 June). The first band on is Red Dog, playing blues (with a line-up of vocal, sax, keyboards, bass, drums and an all too familiar PE lecturer masquerading as a guitarist). At about 8.15 we hand over to the second band P76 (that advertises itself as playing 'the best of Motown and Rockpop fom the 60s and 70s with a sprinking from the 80s and 90s'). The event is a fund-raiser for the NSW Greens and costs $10 (student concession) at the door.

Now I know that you should be working on your final tutorial paper for ECOP 1001 which is due to be handed in next week, so I shouldn't really encourage you to come. But you could consider it a practical field-work study of the economics of the hotel and music industry, with just a dash of politics to give it a PE flavour!
