Technology/Religion related to imaginative journeys?

Could this be argued?

Technology is related to imaginative journeys as someone had to think or imagine of how it would work and look like so that could be there imaginative jounrney. Inventing things from imaginative journeys. And this could be linked to Coleridge's Kubla Khan as Kubla imagined the dome first then he built it in the physical world.

Also religion is faith and faith is an imaginative journey in a sense. Can't justify this any further need to think about it more.

What do u think of all this?

Technology can be imaginative if it is futuristic

I have no idea about religion though...

Faith is more of an inner journey as opposed to imaginative - its about the changes that occur in oneself as they put faith in something or someone. For the person who has faith they truly believe in the existence of the higher being. eg. God and therefore alters their life in accordance to that faith. Yes the invention of technology is an imaginative journey - watch Space Oddyssy 2001 - the whole movie is based on the imaginative journey of technology.
