As the topic says, Optus VS Telstra which service do you think is better value for money?

Optus $69.95 for 12 GB download & 28.8kbs capped speed (yes rewards package) OR Telstra's $59.95 for 10 GB download & 64kbs capped speed??

Which do you think is better value for money?

ALSO!! Add in customer service, service reliability etc... etc...

optus is the shittest plan one can get. you'll always get capped if exceed the limit unlike telstra. and when its capped its at 0.5kb/sec.

heheee.. it's just you abdooooooooooooo! but I didn't like the download cap/time cap... heard that they have a new unlimited plan (a real one).. with i-hug atm but will be with Optus again in the coming weeks

Optus by far is better if you dont want to pay for excess usage

Telstra if you game a lot and wont be using those 12 gbs, but the disadvantage is with that U/D 12gb

unlimited? no such a thing... for some reason my limit of 6gigs ran out in the first 3 days of the new month. im stuck with 0.5kb/sec for a whole month now.

it'll be funny if i had a real unlimited... ahahaha 200 gigs everymonth.

but there are real unlimited plans on them cheap companies that no one heard about before...

nah i just downloaded 3 ripped games from suprnova... when i did my math its only about 0.9 gigs all up... but optus reckons i downloaded 6gigs.

hate those people.

Telstra is better than Optus.
I had Telstra b4 then changed to Optus for a few years and now im back wif Telstra since they had that "sale" thing.

Unlimited downloads and hrs for $70 a month (cable), free modem, free professional installation, may slow down after 10 gigs............and the first 2 months free internet usage....

Optus is a bum......maybe they have measuring devices or smthng. I was on a 500mb plan wif them b4 and they prolly cheated me. I never went over 500mb, then one day it went over just a lil bit then the next day it shot up to 900mb!!!!
That's 20c per mb over 500mb....that month i had to bloody pay $105 round abouts, AND IT WAS BLOODY DIALUP not cable, but costed me more than cable........and the next few months everything was over 500 mb, however, before that i never ever went over 500 and been using it for like 2 or 3 yrs!!!!!!!!! What cheats!!!

Telstra... We get 700MB a month for about $38 plus we are only supposed to have 4 hour blocks...but we get 10 for some reason.

doubles oyu mean. its 6gb now, it got doubled in jan (feb?), will get doubled again come march.

Optus, cause I can't be bothered paying like $300 changing to telstra. Optus gives me 400 kb/s, why would I change. Stuff everything, 12gb is more than I need, and prolly much more than is good for me. Thank god i've given up games (and I advise you to give em up too Abddooooo, you'd be dumb not to. its the HSC year), otherwise i'd be dead. hehe

I'd like to think I'm getting quadrupled from the 3gig plan...it makes me feel better
