I work at a call centre, however as I am only temporary part time, i'm told im not allowed to work on saturdays (they pay 1.5 times pay on that day)....

Are they allowed to exclude temps like that?

If you are on a temporary contract I am quite certain that they can make whatever provisions that they see fit (so long as you agree to them).

As they have more negotiating power, there's really very little you can do besides working somewhere else, or asking your manager for some work on Saturdays. I really don't think they have an obligation to give temporary staff any work at all unless it suits them.
