Yeah I know the Addidas Internation ticket is cheap, but isn't the cheap sits like very far away up the stadium? I mean you are so far up you can't see anything? On the other hand, the front row sits are just as expensive, but i know it's worth it... Just wondering....

And secondly, i know the Australian Open is great, but to watch the tennis there, not only do I have to purchase the ultra-expensive ticket , but i also have to flight there which is quite a lot to afford. Not to mention the hotel, food etc...

So If i am ever going to enjoy a real tennis match, meaning the Semis or the Final, i'll be better off staying in Sydney right? Anyone???

I don't think the tickets themselves are that expensive, but I don't really remember, but yeah, when you factor everything else in, it is quite expensive...

So who's going to the Adidas International???

Free Ground pass tickets (for the first few days) are available if you buy a copy of the Australian Tennis magazine.

one more question, can you choose the sits or are they randomly when you purchase them at the front Gate?

As I mentioned in another thread - depends on who is playing. I've been to the Aust Open 4 times now. IMO - best bet is to buy Centre Court tickets (you have access to ground pass & CC - but Ground Pass tickets are much cheaper) oh, and arrive early!!! Arrived at approx. 10am one yr and the queue was just ridiculously long!!!

Okay, ticket prices my Mum is saying tickets cost over $100 for 2 adults.
