Texts on changing character (1 Viewer)

Hello all! I have had some trouble with finding a text that would be reasonable to study for change (specifically the change in characters/environment). In this assignment we have to create a textbook page that compares the film "pleasantville" with two other texts. (so far the best ideas i have had focused on either the characters or the environment, rarely both). I have had a lot of trouble finding texts that would be appropriate and good for this assignment. If anyone can send any suggestions i would be grateful!

Sadly, i am not allowed to pick another film, or choose a picture book.
