The boolProp cheat in Sims 2 (1 Viewer)

It worked when I did this the first time, but when I turned off the comp and when back to it again a while later, it didn't work anymore. I've tried everything - going back into the neighbourhood view and do that from there; triple-checking my spelling, etc etc etc...I only want to max out their needs...can anyone help or suggest a reason why?!

Maybe your uptight morals are affecting gameplay. Maybe you can't keep topics in one thread. Maybe you don't actually do Psychology. Maybe you don't know how to spell, in the case of your username, so it screwed the game.

i'm pretty sure it has screwed my game. I did it so that one of my sims would be abducted by aliens to fulfil a want (I maxed out his logic skill trying to do it the normal way and the sim didn't get abducted. ) Now some of my sims just appear transparent, disappear when they return from a community lot and other types of comepletely random stuff.
It's damn annoying

Well I guess that's kind of like the punishment for cheating in Sims 2.

You could always re-install it if it gets that bad.

nah it seems to be ok now. i just moved the whole affected family into a new house and deleted the old one and now it's all good as new.
