Crown is the part of the teeth visibly seen above the gum line. The hard substance of crown resists pathogen attack and prevents them from attacking the inner soft tissues primarily. They are also the visible part that catapults the role of oral beauty straight into whole beauty aspect just with the effect of smile.

Though our natural crown does all this, when we say’ Tooth crown we normally associate it in clinical terms. In clinical terms tooth crown does the same function as or sometimes more than the original one but the crown structure is not natural one instead it is clinically engineered to suit the demand.

What sort of demand could arise? The demand for an alternative restoration to substitute the old crown arise in the event of the following –

• For reasons like tooth decay, tooth fracture or other problems like coming off a large chunk, broken or excessively wearing of teeth takes place. Though these shape alteration can be made up by filling it, it is less advantageous to crowning. Crown with its flexibility of outside-mouth and inside-lab technique makes it a better restoration as per doctors are considered.
• Whatever be the dental case if the damage has exceeded the normal crown to extend deeper; restoration by filling is necessary but nothing could strengthen the treated tooth better than Tooth crown.
• Tooth crown is the visible part and so determines the appeal of the cosmetic appeal. Even if your crown is strong enough to keep your teeth healthy it need not be cosmetically supporting at the same time. You get this support from porcelain crown if you need to install a crown.

Considering all this the effectiveness of Tooth crown need no telling

pfft, if you get 1 tooth crowned then you'll end up getting most of your teeth done, because if you only get one done, it would stand out and would be very unpleasant. look at hilary duff, her teeth is crowned, and she looks like a human rabbit

I have a crown on one of my bottom front teeth. You wouldn't even know unless I told you and pointed it out.

Did you ever assist for a root canal? If so, what did it look like?

I never ended up seeing much during mine, but a few times when I saw the dentist pull out the hook thingy there was a little bit of my gore on it. I'm intrigued.

There actually isn't a lot of gore on the files when you do a root canal. They use this calcium stuff which is a chelating agent and sometimes when you pull it out of the tooth, the stuff still left on the file looks pretty funky.

They're as boring as batshit to do, nearly as boring and repetitive as a filling. GOD, IF I HAD TO BE PRESENT FOR ONE MORE FILLING I WAS GOING TO RAGE

Hahahah, and you probably got paid like shit too right?

I thought you had to have some medical aptitude to get a job like this. Guess it's just like your typical crap-shit Woolies shelf packer deal.

It paid fucking shit, my boss was an asshole, I was leaning over all day and the hours were unusual.
You do generally have to have some medical aptitude, I think I only got the job because of the degree I was doing (though theyre completely different and I went in with NFI). My boss was such an ass though, he'd try and convert people all the time (raging Baptist), he was a psycho and he'd fuck things up and then blame us.
Man, I'd have gladly stacked shelves at Woolies over that shit.

He referred to hygeine as "a nicety". I quit after seeing him take a phone call during an extraction on a Hep C patient, with his gloves still on, transferring blood onto the phone and handing it back to the dumbfuck receptionist. That was the last I could take.

Yeah. Like the time the other girl got a needle stick injury and instead of taking her to emergency ASAP he made everybody stand in a circle and pray.

Exactly like that time!
Was she not alright in the end?
It was a miracle.
(Hopes the girl was fine afterwards)

Nah we had to wear these shitty shirts (not proper coats) and he'd occasionally take them home to wash them and when he did he'd always bring them back wet.

Fuck, I haven't really sat down and had a think of what a hell hole this place really was. I'm so not going to a dentist ever again.

We can cut the black spot out of your tooth, but we can't cut it out of your heart. You need to find Jesus and he will forgive you. Jesus has a plan for us, he wants the best for you, you need to find him and find the right path in life.

:)
