yeah they're pretty cool...
saves me an hour on wednesdays so i don't have to turn up at 10am!!

i'm not sure if all lectures are recorded though. i remember last year they didn't have ilectures and they had those stupid real media player streamings, but only for some lectures....

anyways, ilectures rock!

I would love ilectures more if the educ 105 site worked properly on my computer and I could get to them.

Or when you hear students' convos about how boring the lecturer is, and then you realise it's you.

ilectures are pretty good. I like the fact that you can pause and rewind the lecture and then go back writing stuff you missed in the actual lecture. But still, the coughing the phone ringing in the background are still really annoying!!! Oh well....

last year for torts i listened to every lecture (24 hours worth) in the 3 days before the final exam (so avg 8 hrs or 4 lectures/day)

I only got through 4 hrs on the first day so I had to punch out 10 hours for each of the next 2 days

Never again

If someone left their iPod on the lecture stand I would walk out with it after the lecture is done. So watch out... ^_~

i found it really hard to listen to ilectures on a computer screen. i'd always end up getting distracted with msn and/or counter-strike (and sometimes when the lecture got really boring, i'd turn up my music).

BUT: I've found that just by burning a cd of it and listening to it on my discman, on a couch with the lecture notes in front of me, is easier and more conjucive to learning than attending actual lectures.
I do that with everything but AHST102, where I need google + internet to understand what he's talking about.
