A shower thought came to me yesterday,

These are my marks and approximated rankings.

Maths Advance : 95% (~3/113)
Maths Extension 1 : 85% (~7/50)
English Advanced : 72% (~17/64)
Japanese Beginners : 71% (~8/20)
Business studies : 70% (~12/69)
Physics : 85% (~4/37)

My school on average is ranked about 380 - 400.

What would happen If I were to not do as well in trials as I hoped ( I'm aiming for above 80 for Japanese , English and business is so hard to reach that goal, and above 85 for the rest )

Would that mean my goal of 90 cannot be achieved? If so how can I make it a reality? By doing well in the HSC ?, and by how much? (e.g. english ^8%)

Thanks

Have a look at this website-it has plenty of band 6 English resources to give you an idea of how the best students structure their essays-http://engrishforum.wordpress.com/category/area-of-study-s/

One tip-stop questioning and speculating, just focus on doing your best and executing your study plan to the best of your ability-both in the trials and in the actual HSC-when you worry about too much, you end up worrying about things that are not so important which might end up affecting things that are quite important.
