very hard in my skool the highest was 33% :|
we did pretty bad dew to not studying because we had to work on multimedia Assignment that carries out 25% so yea
it was due on da same day as our examz so no time 2 study

But on topic, the Independent Trials tend to be considerably harder than the real HSC- but at least it helps you prepare for the worst and it ensures you know your stuff. Study off these (by doing them) and you'll be very well prepared.
