hi everyone , i finished my yearlies i got my results back i have done great in all my subjects
General maths
Standard English
Business studies
Ancient history
Legal studies
PDHPE

im thinking of dropping a subject next year due to alot of the work and since i go to a sports school and im in the soccer program i find it hard to study for all 6 subjects, train 4 days and work 3 days a week plus maintaining study time.
im think of dropping either one PDHPE or legal studies , i work better in legal studies and also get better results then pdhpe but i find pdphe moreharder to memorize but i find it much more interesting than legal , any thoughts? is it worth doing 10 units?

To be honest, I'd wait until you have done at least a term of the HSC course before dropping a subject - you will find that you will have a far better on each subject once you have tried the HSC course (the HSC and Prelim courses for some subjects can differ a fair bit). From the sounds of things, your best bet in terms of maximising your ATAR would be to keep Legal Studies. But as I said, it's worth waiting a bit longer.

hey man , i really enjoy legal i ended up getting 81% for my yearlie exam , i mostly studied my whole revision paper and asked my teacher i could borrow the school textbook , i studied all terms , and every single topic , my extended response was on law reform and i did 8 pages on that all memorised from the text book haha :) got 28/30 on that , but i screwed up alot in multiple choice with only 13/20 multiple choice is pretty hard in legal ive realised that!

yeah , im actually thinking that and im overall good in all my subjects but its just i feel really stressed with 6 and its much more harder to study all 6 with training and stuff but im still thinking of just keeping all 6 until half yearlies next year are over and see how everything turns out.
