Has ne one else been able to get hotmail to work with Thunderbird? I have downloaded the webmail and hotmail extensions for it, but when i got to check email, get the message:

An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mailserver localhost responded:

ne help would be required. thanks.

I don't think you can connect to hotmail via POP without being a paid subscriber.

Make sure that 'Incoming Server' for POP and the 'Server Name' setting for the SMTP server are set to localhost.
