Quick inquiry - I have to go overseas for work on May 30th to June 7th, that's the whole of week thirteen and a day or two into week fourteen. Now my question is, whilst doing a full-time Commerce degree at UNSW, is this possible without greatly hindering my learning/future marks? I'll still have over a week from when I get back to study for exams.

The main problem is that assignments tend to be due around that time. Week 14 is more critical than thirteen, but if you have somone to take notes you should be OK.

Hmm yeah the problem lies with any assessments due then. Your option is to hand in any assessments early. Also, lecturers in 1st year commerce tend to "give away" whats going to be examined in the final (ESPECIALLY for Accounting 1A!) so you'd need someone to take those notes for you, as McLake said, it's pretty critical
