Hi guys,
I work for Woolworths Limited (won't say which store name) and I recently applied for time off for 7th September to 8th of November so I can study and complete my HSC exams. I am a casual employee. My manager replied that I "probably won't be allowed to do that". Are they allowed to deny this? I don't want to have to quit, especially when I will have an abundance of free time after the HSC, and plan to transfer to another store in a different area when I leave for university. Do I have any rights behind me that I can fight with?
