In large classes, there are usually more than one "strand" or "stream" of lectures that run concurrently - to suit people with different timetables to avoid clashing timetables, and to separate the large class that wouldn't otherwise fit in a lecture room all at the same time.

You attend the lectures of *one* stream or strand (if you're keen you can go to all of them!)

When you enrol unsw myUNSW, you can only select one stream anyway, so you can't get it wrong,

Large lectures tend to be for first year subjects like Psychology 1A, Maths 1A, etc... in other words, VERY big. with lectures, however, it doesn't matter if you're enrolled in the "wrong" stream because you can go to WHATEVER LECTURE YOU LIKE.
