does anyone know what needs to go on a title page for a formal assessment (major essay)?
im guessing our name, student number, subject code thingy and a brief description of what the essays about....anything else/less/whatever?
the department peoples are really slack, so none of us has any idea on whats going on.

thanks!!!!!!

UTS has a formal cover page that has to be attached to the front of every assignment. On it we have to put what assignment it is, what subject, the due date, our name, student number, telephone number, email address, tutorial leader's name and we have to sign a declaration that it is our own work.

why on earth would it be more in sem.2 than sem.1?

Yeah, we have formal cover sheets, but they are deparmental (ie. their are different ones for each department)
I think every faculty at Newcastle has it's own separate cover sheets.

For example:

btw. what subject do you have the essay for?

At uws, we have to put a cover sheet and then a title page. I have no idea why, both of them are exactly the same anyway. But its basically got our name, student number, course, course code, lecturer and a declaration that its our own work.

Jess, I went to the social sciences building today with a friend who was handing in an essay for a 2nd year ENVS unit, and i saw that they had a pile of yellow cover sheets outside the staffroom. So when you hand in your assignment, just grap on of those and staple it to the front.
