I saw an ad for this and i was all like " :O OMG!" but then i realized i haven't seen any tmnt since i was like 3 or 4 and have no idea what it's about or whether i'd even not dislike it. So then my excitement left

I wanted it to be live action. Is that the term? Anyway, like the old ones.

I hope it's more like the old cartoons and less like the newer series cos the new ones suck ass. It's lost all the appeal and gone all 'dark' (as dark as a cartoon is likely to get anyway).

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I saw it, whether it'd be really nostalgic or redone for a new audience. I guess it was a mix of both.

Some very decent voice actors, though, I was surprised to see Patrick Stewart in the credits.

For me the animation style was cool at some points and a little off at others, but overall good. At times the jokes seemed forced, but otherwise the humour was pretty decent.

I did miss the first 15 minutes though, which wasn't cool.

This will never be as good as the old live action films, they are classics. Well at least the first 2 are, not really a fan of the third.

I'm resenting the newer episodes of TMNT compared to the older ones, but I'll see how this one fares.
