Yr11 prelim subjects:
-Adv. English = 1/28
-Modern History= 1/12
-S.O.R(2unit)=4/30
-Mathematics (2unit)= 10/18
-Biology= 1/22
-Chemistry= 5/12

UAI aim= 85+
don't really think i'll cope with chem nxt year so was thinking of dropping but then i'll only have 10 units....so i have to decide! the other subject id think of dropping is maths or dropping down to general maths....

any help or incite into yr12 chemistry would be appreciated!:D

Drop Maths. Maths is synonymous with torture.

OK, so it's all right sometimes but - drop it!
Or Chem - my cousin did it in Yr 11 (2007), but dropped it because it was "very boring". Do what you enjoy!

I'd say drop down to general in maths, see how you go, then if you're still not coping with chem say, at the end of t1 next year, drop it. A friend of mine recently went form advanced maths to general, and she finds it incredibly easy, so it may ease the strain.
