On a similar tangent, has anyone else seen people walking around with split toe shoes lately? I have. They are UGLY.

This is one of the most ugly things I've ever seen.

I think this and the toe-cleavage is an exercise in people running out of ways to make the foot look more glamorous, so they try to make the human foot look as unelegant as possible and palm it off as a fashion statement.

There is a reason why in normal closed-toed shoes, we don't see the toe.... because it looks better that way, less "distractions", emphasis on tapered/slender tip of foot etc etc

Too much is no good,a bit is okay.
I have a pair of shoes that shows only a bit toe clevage, not as much as the pic that skeeta posted.

im not even gonna comment on those split toe things

toe cleavage looks bad. Like the shoe doesn't fit and you're trying to squeeze into a size too small.

I hate shopping for ballet flats and they're all low cut :mad:
