Lets just all stop arguing. We're all so incredibly lucky to be at university and shouldn't be arguing over which uni is betta - as they are all going to have their good points and bad points - just like highschools do. For lack of a betta example, just like every1 doing their HSC bands together regardless of what school they're from, we should all think of ourselves as uni students and not UWS students or UNSW students.

I don't think employers are as 'uni biased' as every1 seems to think... it all comes down to individual ability. And if we've been at a uni where we've been happy with it and have had a good experience, we'll be betta ppl. for it. It really comes down to whateva floats ur boat - every1 will have different expectations of uni and it's nobody's place to say which view is betta. Generally, as one would expect, we're probably going to think our uni is wonderful, and that's fantastic, we need that patriotic spirit coz it'll make our uni environment much more positive, but that doesn't mean we have to pull other people's unis down!!

Thanks. xox

Most of us realise that. But its the few ignorant people who stuff it up for everyone, sending everyone into a hate war.

Let the nerds look down on us for no reason, it's their fault they're socially retarded, not ours, let's just keep laughing at them.

Some people are just incredibly lonely and prehaps their only real interaction with people is debating over which uni is better. Honestly, I haven't ever seen an argument on which university is better in real life.

Hmmm...thats odd because i got a UAI of 99.25 and im doing Bachelor of Laws/Social Science at UWS. The university along with the course was my first preference and I DO NOT BY ANY MEANS regret it. My experience thus far has been great...the people are friendly, the lecturers and tutors are very helpful and show concern for their students, the environment is relaxed and comfortable yet very studious. Now, in light of this, if im not at a real uni with a real UAI that allowed me to get there studying real law then where exactly am i and what exactly am i doing? UWS is there for people who choose to go there...in the same way that i did. The University you attend is not a reflection of your abilities as a student.

What kind of lame-ass teacher is that?! As if you'd say that to your students!

all us uws students will have the last laugh when we do end up with good jobs and happy lives with our real degrees after going to a real university with all our social skills as hiphophorray pointed out

so many teachers wouldnt know if their arse was on fire. ive had plenty of teachers who have no common sense whatsoever and believe that because they are teachers they know everything. with all their life skills and experience in the real world of course they know everything

geez i went to Baulkham Hills High, and like even tho our average is i duno.,.97/98 or sumthin even our teachers who generally promote usyd/unsw dont go so far as to say that!

i mean...our principal did:p but then again he's a jerk:D

but yeah, our teachers never said anything like that! some of them even encouraged me to come here even though they knew i had a high mark and wanted to do law....

A lot of UWS courses are offered at no other uni in the state.
Thats true ... if I wanted to study eco-tourism at another uni, the only other one would be in Albury. And theres no real point in going there, when I had the opportunity to study at UWS.
