Is it harder to transfer to B.Commerce @ UNSW after first year uni studying a related course (such as B. Economics) at a different uni than if i was studying B. Economics @ UNSW first year?

Also, if transferring from a different uni, do they only care about ur marks, or do they also take into a count which uni u studied first year?

1.It's harder yes, because u might not get full credit for your first year courses studied at another uni - u'll get full credit if u did Eco at UNSW, then transferred to commerce @ UNSW

2. they only care about ur GPA(grade point average) and UAI

is 1st year eco @ UNSW exactly the same as 1st year commerce?
does that mean if u are successful in transfering from eco to comm then u are equal to a normal 2nd year comm student?

also, if you dont take into a count gettin full credit or not, is it equal chance they'll let u transfer no matter which uni u went to, or do they give preference to UNSW students?

1. yes, the core subjects are exactly the same, and ur electives would count toward ur major (which would be the same in eco and com, except if u wanna do actuarial studies)

2. yes, there is equal chance, transfers are given by ur selection rank (average of 1st yr GPA and UAI) no mattter wat uni u go to
