Will your credit for subjects get transferred? If so what ones, or all?

Probably only half.

My 2 maths subjects and 2 java subs.
If I am lucky, others will become electives but I doubt it

For external transferring (in your case):
ATAR + WAM if your ATAR > your WAM equivalent.

WAM only if your WAM equivalent > your ATAR.

For internal transferring:
WAM only.

The info is here: https://www.futurestudents.unsw.edu.au/how-to-apply

I assume this will be your case by the time offers are sent:
I have completed no more than 2 semesters of study
If you have completed a minimum of 0.75 of a full-time equivalent study load and not more than 1.0 full-time equivalent study load in a single degree program (i.e. 2 full-time semesters or 1 full-time semester and 1 part time semester), you will be assessed for admission to UNSW on either your first year of tertiary study results OR your ATAR (or equivalent) - whichever is better.

How do you know if WAM > Atar

does 60 wam = 60 atar?
