i need info on modulation of amplitude and frequency for this topic. pls help. im a bit buggered. any help 'd be great.

Look up wireless transmission of information,
Modulating amplititude = AM
Modulating frequency = FM

Research on Marconi or radiowaves and you'll be able to understand modulation in terms of AM and FM.

(I don't do Engineering Studies btw, but I thought I'd try and help you here, hope it helps you a little/puts you on the right track :))

AM= Amplitude Modulation...these use lower frequency electromagnetic waves, and the advantage is that it has a significantly longer range and doesnt need a direct line of sight between sender and receiver, although the downside is that the sound quality is crap compared to FM Radio...

by the way do you know Rob or Shaz?
