treating ingrown hairs (1 Viewer)

summer's coming which means hair removal party!

i use an epilator which is tops, but i still sometimes get ingrown hairs. then i pick at them and they go yucky.

does anyone use any good specific treatments for ingrown hairs? details?

i pick at them too :eek:

but erm regular exfoliating prevents and apparently there's this new Nads ingrown hair solution treatment that works? its like $17 for a little bottle of it.

Regular exfoliation + moisturiser after every exfoliating session almost always works. If you keep getting them, it might just be the way your hairs grow or you can invest in the special ingrown-hair creams.

yeah if you're prone to them get a cream - i've only ever had one ingrown, but i'm not very hairy..

Exfoliate the area before and after you shave/wax/pluck...

whatever you do.. DONT PICK AT IT WITH YOUR FINGERS! if you want to pick, use sterilized tweezers, and put antibacterial on it. Fingers are so bacterial-ey
