Treatment: how to 'defeat' or help the host body to 'fight' against the pathogens.
Control/management: methods to manage the population of the pathogens, pretty much when the pathogens are still outside the bodies. Plus how to quarantine the pathogens, avoiding an epidemic explosion.
e.g: DDT is used to control the Anopheles population and in turn the Plasmodium protozoans.
If someone is infected by this, the disease is Malaria. Treatment: chloroquine, etc. Control (complementary to the DDT): separate the infected person from mosquitos or even other people when it's the breeding season.
Prevention: to avoid malaria, wear clothes that cover your whole bodies, esp. when it's approaching dusky hours, use mosquito nets, use bug repellants, etc.
Prevention: how to prevent the pathogen from infecting a healthy body.
If you are mixed up with prevention and control/management, remember prevention is only for HEALTHY/UNINFECTED host organisms while control/management are for the pathogens themselve plus the infected organisms.
