I liked Bomb.... you couldn't see the end coming at all... I was wondering where the film was going lol... and then lol hilarious!

Australian Summer was good... the comment it made about the meaninglessness of materialism was interesting and the actors were excellent.

I also liked Benny (the loser guy), This film is yet to be classified (very funny comment on the Australian film industry lol), Family Legacy (the cricket one)... In Your Dreams was good but I think the plot could have been developed a bit better. I laughed so hard at Garbage Man just because it was so zany and funny. Too Far was also really funny just because I have met people that go "too far" with some things.... I loved the last scene lol sniffing the soap.... so funny!

The one where the guy had the baby and the cinematography was good I didn't really get.... was their supposed to be more of a meaning? The director should have explained it when he got up. It didn't really have a narrative, and I couldn't really even find a strong symbolic meaning behind the film.

Also, the one called "money" I didn't really like... and also because someone streaked it made it hard to get it because it was so short.

Lucky was quite good but I thought some of the other films were more creative and carried more meaning and significance.

Too sunny too cold was so sweet! It was simple, but I found the characters endearing and sometimes observing the every day can be so rewarding.

What have I forgotten?

Fingerprints was interesting. At first I was like "huh" but on further consideration the meaning carried by it was more evident and it was quietly emotional.

The rat one was kinda cute and was funny.

Coma was funny.... but I expected something to happen at the end and then it didn't really. Also it was a bit predictable, and I have seen something quite similar before.

Chiuso... made at UTS (respect!).... I loved the filming technique, it was cool. I couldn't find any big meaning behind it, but it was kinda cool.

I think I've talked about all of them now.

The Tropfest trailer was pretty funny as well!!!!! Hilarious!!!!

Eat Carpet didn't involve drinking large amounts of cheap champagne under the stars watching great films with 100000 people.... hence tropfest is better!

I prefer Eat Carpet. The short films you see on it have more variety because not only are they from around the world, but they dont try to follow whats trending in film making. Tropfest is like the Hollywood of short films.

I loved Benny Unseen Hero. I completely fell in love with him. Everything just tied in so well. Chiuso was really memorable in a weird way... I can't say i'm artsy enough to have properly appreciated Australian Summer. And I liked Too Sunny, Too Cold for its culture clash and really simple humour.

The ones i didn't like were Rattus Pistofficus and Coma. Rattus Pistofficus was a bit too predictable, as soon as you saw one scene you could guess the rest. I thought Coma was too slow paced and relied too much on the one guy's narrative. Who knows, maybe that was it's strength.

But seriously, I thought Fingerprints should've won. It was really moving in a scary way.

GO BENNY AND THE GUY WHO GOT HIT BY THE TRUCK!!
