Trouble with subject/choices/units (1 Viewer)

So I'm doing B Sci Flexible and I don't really understand how the units work. I've gathered I must do 144 units but soes that mean I have to chose from 6 of the listed majors and do the first year, as each first year seems to be 24 credits?
such as bio med science, physics, environment, marine biology etc

I believe first year is a foundation year in which everyone in the same stream (life/environmental sciences or physical sciences) does the same subjects which comprise of 48cp. Then for your following years you can choose what to major in.
