If they had already paid for the trip and could not get a refund, then they should be able to holiday and enjoy it. As most people would know saving up for a holiday takes time and is hard-earned and theres no reason why they should be prevented to enjoy it, unless they are in the way of the clean up, which is unlikely, as tourist places have already opened.
When i saw that picture in the newspaper with the brits laying on the beaches i was like 'dam thats bad', but then i thought 'well, they probably couldn't get a refund, and, while it would be good to help, we should not judge whether they should or not (would we help in their position? its easy to say 'yes' here, but if we had spend a long time paying towards a holiday, most of us probably would not want to spend it helping, as bad as that sounds. I think most would escape the terrible suffering and would want to be as ignorant as possible, and if your not going to help, then you might as well laze around and not worry).
What annoyed me is that the media has a bitchfest at the people laying on the beach, yet people forget that there are people behind the camera taking pictures of them. what is the media doing? Nothing much practical to the cause (dont give me that bullshit that they are informing us, because it doesnt help the cause).
Put it this way, the tourists are helping the country as much as the media who are there.
