What kind of jobs would a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) degree get? I'm getting mixed answers from various people. One half is saying its more media public relations kind of thing and the other half is saying its a creative arts, designing and producing media works. Which is it? Personally, I wanted to do this course because I thought it gave students practical knowledge on how to produce media/multimedia.

I have a related question: what do you actually DO in the course? the description mentions multimedia, web design, video/sound production, but also screenwriting, TV work and journalism.
Which is it?
If I don't want to do the former stuff, the web design, video work etc. can I choose not to do it, and focus on journalism?
