uai cutoff's, so close but so far (1 Viewer)

hey all, congrats to everyone...
i would just like to see if anyone knows whats the deal with the cut off's. I got 73.95, but the course i want to get into is 78 but UOW(wollongong) gives me three bonus which brings me to 76.95, 1.05 off the cut off what are my chances of getting into primary education.

why would uai cutoffs go up because its a strongly performing candidature? you do realise the uai is a ranking scale, ie. approx 29.3% of people will get under 50 and the median will always be approx 65. dont give people any more reason to worry if you don't know what you're talking about.

I wanted to get into UOW Commerce (cut off 80) I get 3 bonus points which brings UAI to 75.12 i'm off by 5 oh well I can always go to mossvale for a year then automatically go to wollongong after a year sucks though
