Hey guys I got my final results back, as well as SAM's little prediction can I have an estimation from you guys?
(afaik my mark is scaled trial mark, i dont think anyones given overall assessment mark?)

My schools rank is 202nd;

English standard

Average: 64/100

General maths
Mark: 82/100
Average: 57/100
Rank: 5/173

Chemistry
Mark: 84/100
Average: 65/100
Rank: 20/62

Software design and development
Mark: 79/100
Average: 69/100
Rank: 6/23

VET Information Technology
Mark: 85/100
Average: 62/100

i'd say 80-85 cause ur ranks aren't that great and ur highest mark is 85 and dats is a shitty scaling subject. Of course deres nothing stoping u from getting 95+ as u desire!

80-85? I'd say better than that- high 80's for sure and atleast 90 of you go well in the exams. Those ranks are actaully pretty good when you consider the huge candidature at his school.

newayz, yeah i tend 2 agree wit ^, all da ranks are pretty gud except chemistry. high 80s, low 90s for sure.

casmira u wouldn't happen 2 know how many ppl got 90+ UAI at ur school last year?

fucked if i know, I know of at least 6 people though, they got like 99, 98, 97, nothing under 95, there's probably more i dont know of

80-85! holy shit i was hoping for early 90s, (90 infact would be perfect)

well at least i wont have to absoloutley thrash my HSC exams to get that low 90s (VET IT should help alot, its worth 100% HSC exam )

You really have no idea what its like, i was so accustomed to annihilating people in the computing studies exam in year 10 (1st me 98%, 2nd 70%) out of ~10 people, but the cohort is mucking fassive, especially english, thats the hardest, because you got people who did advanced drop down into standard and make a playground out of my ass, you can tell who they are, there is this massive gap in marks, I got no idea if im anywhere close in the top 20, I'm probably not...

But the good thing is that top for SDD is 85, top 6 for SDD are very close as you can imagine i got 6th and 79, from what I remember the marks start getting picked off down and drop really really really low (some people got 30% for the trial).

(unsure about VET IT, from what I remember my teacher told me ~top 5 are within 10%)

Chemistry I was only 10% off first place in trial (I know its 20 ranks, but i actually got 10th in trial, but prior that I had went really shit) so Im part of the "top 10 hoping to get band 5-6 in hsc".

Maths the marks are REALLY REALLY tight, like 1% difference, but I didn't go so well in trial, but i annihilated the half yearly and term 3 assessment (88%/85%) and got like 3rd in those, so I can't tell you but I imagine probably top 10 or so are very close, I remember seeing a huge drop from high 70s to like low 60s, that was around 15th.

Too much competition
