yo guys i go to a selective skool in the top 40 but my ranks r pretty shiate.

maths 2u - 24/81
maths 3u - 73/92
chem - 49/61 (23rd in trial)
phys - 54/67 (46 in trial)
eco - 25/39
eng adv - 86/140

So guys what do u rekon i'll get?
I gat a prediction from skool but id like to see ur opinions, and also see how close ur predictions are

u were pretty close dagwoman

school gave me an estimate of 84-86

and i know i can improve on it cos i did a lot better in trials for chem and phys than the final rank suggests.

well depends how ur goin at the moment...whats ur skool ranked?

oh ok but if get at least band 6 in any one of these subjects and band 5 would still be able to get into the 80s for the course and also there are smart students this year who always do well maybe that will scale me up? and plus i have few disadvantage points aswell lol ?

remember these predictions are based on assesment ranks...im sure that if u do well in the external exam and knock up a few high 80's and a 90 then ur hsc mark will be pretty gud, even if ur school mark is low, and ur UAI will be up in the 80's
