From what the uac websites show, most universities have at least around 98.5+ median ATAR if you wanna do undergrad or guaranteed postgrad med excluding any schemes or selection factors. As they don't reveal the median UCAT marks that correlate to the median ATAR, does anyone know what ATAR and UCAT mark would receive an interview to universities like UNSW, WSU, UOW, Monash and others? Also, any current med students pls tell rough ATAR and UCAT that you got offered an interview with (excluding the obvious ones like 99.95 ATAR with 3250 UCAT)?

Below is all the info I could find about the universities and their medians (also that UNSW ≈ 3100 median UCAT and that USYD is 99.95 only without schemes😩). Med looking kinda 😬

Are you in Greater Western area? WSU reduces UCAT requirement to like 83%tile if so.

Also, WSU only looks at VR for UCAT. >600 Will get u in for interviews.

These other unis say nothing about the requirements. Most likely to promote the utmost from the applicant, in order to find who's best for the entry.

for Newcastle, the interview offer is solely based off ucat and is generally around 93rd - 94th percentile, and their offer weighting is 100% interview, the atar is only set as a cut-off at 94.1 for non rural applications.

For UNSW the lowest non rural atar was 99.5 last year, but generally speaking if u want to get in to UNSW with a decent interview you are probably looking at 3.1k+ and 99.7+.

Monash is brutal with interstates, last year I think the lowest reported interstate (not from vic) was like 99th and 99.95 atar.

WSU looks at VR, but generally, you want over 700 VR for a safe chance into an interview.
