For UoN a Bachelor Degree that isn't completed, you need a GPA which is "closer to a credit average" as a cut-off, but anything higher than that doesn't give you an advantage, no.

"Applicants are offered interviews on the basis of their
combined predicted or actual ATAR and their actual
UMAT scores. Interviews are offered to the highest
ranking applicants until all interview places have
been filled. Interviews take place in November and
early January. A maximum of 500 applicants will be
interviewed."

"The UMAT score is valid for one year only. UNSW uses the actual scores for the three test components, not the percentile rank. Minimum UMAT score required for interivew selection is 150 (total raw score - there is no required score minimum for test components)."
