Same.

Unbonded - 1st
MRB - 0 preference
Workforce - 0 preference

I would choose MRB, but I don't know if I'll get in! :(

Some people are obviously not ready to devote their lives to the practice of medicine ;)

I know what you're saying, but it's asking "a lot", especially during your 20s, when you're supposed to be in the city, having fun and so on. (But of course, who says you can't have fun in rural areas).

I don't know, it's just not for me, so I'd rather be unbonded. This doesn't mean that I'm not dedicated/devoted to the practice of med, it just means that I'd rather establish myself from the outset working in the city. I don't really know ... but that was my decision to make :)

well obviously you have no chance of becoming a psychiatrist if you're going to be so judgemental of people and not keeping an objective mind...i agree with Huy's sentiments

What, so instead of starting your career at 40 you just...die? :D

I know EXACTLY what you mean, and that's precisely how I fely until about June this year. But then a friend doing Med in Adelaide pointed out the basic truth to me: Med's Med, and if it's your true call than it's worth doing anything for. So, that's really my justification for applying to six universities, as well as the bondage (I typed that on purpose). I'm not calling anyone less dedicated to the profession, but I am prepared to go to almost any lengths to study medicine. I bet I sound really lame though eh?

I have both...everywhere! And I'm not that concerned about friends. I'm pretty cool with severing ties, in fact I've already begun to do so. Basically, I know I'll keep in touch with the close friends, and everyone else would have drifted anyway. This is just neater. As for moving, I'm leaving home regardless of which uni I go to (except if it's UTS, their accomodation is bleh) and I'm quite prepared to move 30 kilometres or 3000 kilometres, doesn't bother me.
