I heard rumours that some uni is offering good money for volunteers to amputate and reattach toes? Anyone know anything?

And if anyone has any info of any schemes involving getting paid to volunteer, post the details.

dept of physiology usualli have human testing.. for lik how ure muscles work or nerves work..
it may involve some needles..usualli the pay isnt great.. but its money..

umm hospitals do drug trials.. esp for the cold.... and u get paid up to $100/hr for some of the work.. but ask before u start
there are trials available but u need to be "locked down" for lik 2-3 days.. about $1000-2000 depending on risk

I highly doubt they'd amputate and re-attach something.

hang around hospitals and u will see them.. lots of them..

yeah idun think reattaching is an option.. surgeons are wayyy too inept to be trusted to do tat..

ummm call up the resp unit or GIT unit at a teaching hospital.. and ask if they do practise bronchoscopies or oesophagogastroduodenoscopy..,

its about about $1500... drugged up..
u get a bit of a sore throat.. but these are for specialist in training

they knock u out.. and then shove a camera into ure mouth to ure lungs or ure stomach and intestines..

they do it in SA.. i kno a couple of guys tat did it..
sed it was lik being a hooker.. sore mouth.. a lil drugged up.. and losta money in ure pocket after about 2 hrs..

urrm i know they have them at macquarie uni... it's like 10 bucks for 15-60 mins of ur time... for psychology stuff... the most disgusting thing i had to do was spit into three tubes while excercising my hands.... other than that u just do little computer simulations or just do surveys... arggh boringness!

still it's good to fit into ur schedule if u don't have lunch money or bus money to get home.

yeah but thats cos i hang out at hospitals... its my fetish.. to get stuff shoved into me..
i did one muscle one.. with a catheter into my calf it was $60 for 3-4 hrs..
