Hah, I spent like half of my Business Communcations Skills subject learning to write politically correctly...and the term 'Asian' is apparently unacceptable.
If you say 'Asian' in England you are pretty much refering to Pakistanis, but sometimes also used to cover Indians and Bangladeshis. I found that strangely amusing.
So yeah...at UNSW there is a great number of students from the East Asia region (especially China)...as well as MANY Australian students of east asian origin.
But it makes sense though. UNSW has the best rep for Commerce in east asia and south east asia (and probably locally as well), so it'd be natural for a lot of students to try and go there.
