Just a quick question as this has been my first semester at Uni of Newcastle, I got my exam results but I am wondering when I get my subject results...like calculated with assignment marks and quizes and exam results. Anybody know?

Thanks

the exam results are the entire subject result, you never get your actual exam result.... so the reault that you get up on the computer encorporates all your results for the semester

if you're bored, you can plug all the figures into excel and figure out what you got in the exams though (how pathetic must I be?)

I believe the marks are adjusted to fit a bell curve, or some sort of scaling applied... they say they don't, but I don't believe them.

apparently by one of our demonstrators they are though,

last years chem1020 exam (2003 that is) was apparently really bad and the demonstrator said that it would be scaled.. otherwise most of the class would have failed,,,, i didnt mind,,, i already had a good mark that got even better
