So I've been to two open days, stayed a few nights at B&G, checked out Bruce and Ursula and spoken to a people with wildly different opinions on ANU accommodation. And I still can't make up my mind about where I want to stay next year - tossing up between Bruce and Lena-Karmel.
The thing is, I am just in love with Lena-Karmel. It's beautiful, the rooms are so private, it's clean and I am so keen for moving into a place that is a borderline apartment - self-catered etc would suit me perfectly. And I like seclusion.
The only thing affecting my decision is the social scene. UniLodge is not meant to have the /greatest/ social life, and Lena-Karmel, as the newest, would probably be the quietest. I'm not desperate to party (in the slightest), but I am keen to actually make friends.
So my question is this:
Would it be worth sacrificing the pleasure and peace I would get at UniLodge for the social benefits of a college?
Thank you!!
