I'm sorry if this is yet another one of those threads but I'm currently doing B Applied Finance + B Economics at MQ and I'm wanting to transfer to UNSW and do B Commerce there next year. Can I still apply now? Do I do it though UAC? What are the requirements? BTW I'm a domestic student.

I've read through the stickies and what not but I'm still not clear. :mad1:

U read the stickies and you are still unclear?? Ok, obviously you apply through UAC. Regarding the requirements, just do a simple google search for unsw. How would we know the requirements? If you want an answer, ask the source. Obviously the source is the uni you want to apply to.There are a billion threads like this. Take the initiative, email them, ask them what average GPA is needed for transfer, etc..

You have until the 30th September to apply. You apply through UAC (and they charge you like double the year 12 price - so annoying).

Anyway if you have done a full time year of study (or equivalent) your marks will be converted into a GPA, then that will converted into a selection rank (there is a conversion guide in a pdf in the stickies) then averaged out with your UAI. I would just go of the last years UAI cutoff, but apparently it can be a bit higher or lower when you apply through transfer.

As for your particular course I don't know anything, but the whole process seems quite straightforward and simple.
