I'm currently in the science/computer science program at UNSW and i want to transfer into any combined degree with Biomedical engineering. Would me currently being in an engineering degree transferring within the same faculty increase my chances of getting accepted?. I got into science/computer science thanks to EAS and i heard the IPT looks at your ATAR as well as my WAM in making their decision.

It's only WAM based. If there are 50 places available, and you're WAM is in the top 50 of applicants, you get an offer. Outside of that top 50, you don't.

Being in science does not increase your chances.
