Uni Pics Website

I've started a uni pics website at http://unipics.blogspot.com after getting a pm requesting to do so. If anyone has any pics (of a campus or pics of friends or people or whatever around a campus) then feel free to mail them to vavoom@gmail.com and don't worry about the filesize - I have a gig free I'll of course give credit to whoever took it and don't forget to include in the mail what you want the post to say or a little bit of information about the pic(s) as well as what name you want to be listed as under the Contributors section.

Leave comments and stuff after the pics if you like.

Would love more pics. I guess I'll rename the site to accomodate all pics from uni campuses across NSW.

Some of us have to go to this wonderful looking Uni once in a while. I moved it within 24 hrs, that's not too bad ...

Indeed, the beauty of the UNSW campus can be extremely distracting sometimes

unsw looks beautiful all the time
usyd looks better than unsw in the day. at night usyd looks haunted.

too bad i dun have a digicam... otherwise i'd start taking some pics of uts for you... some good pics to take of uts are:

building 10 - former Fairfax building, interior is sexy glass architecture.

level 28, tower - tallest view from the tallest uni in australia.

in front of library bell at (markets) building 5, law and business - the bell used to be rang to signal the start and end of the market day (the old hay market at, surprisingly, haymarket). building 5 houses the uts city library, law and business faculties. it is a mixture of glass, brick and the outer wall of the old market building.

business courtyard, building 5 - my own small piece of lawn in building 5 (uts has grass you know). pretty thing about it is noone ever sits on the lawn (hence only i sit on the lawn) and there's a big tree that has many many crunchy leaves in autumn.

I think this Wednesday I'll swing by UTS and/or Usyd and start snapping away. Thanks for the tips Frigid.

Haymarket Campus is nice. So are all the Insearch buildings.

Building 6 (Peter Johnson Building) is also quite sexy inside.
Also, Bon Marche (humanities, building 3) is nice on the outside because it is all heritage-ish.

So don't knock UTS, it's really quite sexy.

Unviersity Hall is kinda funky inside. And look people, don't knock the tribute to retro architecture which is the tower.... it is funky in it's own unique way.

UNSW.... walking through it is like hiking up a mountain.... I had only ever seen the outside of it before and the outer buildings are kinda icky, but inside it's not bad at all. It has that mini tower which has UNSW on it and it kinda reminds me of a shrunk UTS tower lol.

USyd, what can I say....

Another really nice looking uni is Charles Sturt Albury because it's inside all of these heritage cottages, and the new campus is very cool.
