URGENT uni courses top 5 pref thing (1 Viewer)

i got my first pref in first round offer. i found a new course that i wanna do so i put it as my first pref for this next round but when i click update, it doesnt say "You will be competing with other applicants for an offer." with the green tick thing like it does for my other courses. can i not add and compete for a course that wasnt alrdy in my top 5 in the first round?
