usb micro drive problem (1 Viewer)

I bought this today, but it won't come up in windows explorer.

In the manual it says to "simply plug it in" and a "removable disk icon will appear in explorer". Which doesn't happen.

My camera and mp3 player all work through the usb, and i'm not to flash with computers so I have no idea what to do.

Any help would be great.

That's yer problem.

Are you sure the USB input meets the requirements of the drive?

Thanks for that so far. I have an update - It worked straight away on my brothers computer which is exactly the same as mine.

This is probably no help, but when I plug it in, my computer makes a " bu-dom" sound instead of the "bu-ding" that is makes my brothers computer.
