Use of Abbreviations, sybmols in exam proof (1 Viewer)

I wanted to quickly find out

if markers dislike the use of abbreviations in proof's, or any similar "shortcuts"

e.g

instead of writing perpendicular u do one of those upside down T

or, congruent, with 3 horizontal, paralell lines

or, => "implies"

||gram for parallelogram

also
is it discouraged to write "similary" when proof applies twice in the same question?

as far as i know it is fine, (dont know about similarly) i have been taught since year 7 about congruent, parallel, perpendicukar etc. they should be fine as they're the common ones

These should be fine.

Similarily can be used with caution. If you proved the tangent to a conic in part (a) at point "p", you can say "similarily for q ...."

Also, for motion around a banked track
when questions ask along the lines of "the inner and outer rails are seperated by x amount of meters", i know that we assume tanx = sinx for very small figures
But which should be used for HSC?
The distance along their hypotenuse, or the distance from ground level ?
